 Abstract:  The Jones Home of Children's Services was established in 1887 in Cleveland, Ohio, as a home for foster children and orphans and originally called the Jones Home for Friendless Children. It was donated by Carlos L. Jones who ran it with his wife. It has since come under the aegis of the United Way and presently houses emotionally disturbed children and children awaiting hearings in juvenile court. The collection consists of minutes of the various administrative groups (Trustees, Executive Committee, Women's Board), correspondence, annual reports, budget statements and statements of assets.
